Those sweet late night cravings.

As you may know, I am taking a little break from losing those "last ten" since I had my surgery. I haven't been back for my first post op appointment yet so it'll be a while before Making You Cry Monday gets back up and running.

So, while we wait, I thought I'd let you on a sweet little secret.............Gooey Chocolate Mug Cake.

I found this little treasure on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try.

Why not? It has three on-hand ingredients, takes a minute to put together and a minute to cook.

Heaven in a mug in under FIVE MINUTES!

You don't believe me?

Grab your mug and ingredients.

1 egg.

The recipe calls for 1-2 Tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Let's be honest ladies, if you have two X chromosomes, you'll want both.

1/4 Cup powdered sugar.

Start mixing.

You want it completely mixed, until it is nice and shiny.

Now, here is where a bit of experiementing comes into play. The recipe calls for microwaving for 50-60 seconds. That was a tad too long in mine. Try it out, but when your cake rises..........

...............................and this lovely picture was supposed to show the cake at the same height as the top of the mug (but my silly flash went off instead), STOP the microwave.

I stop mine around 35 seconds.

And now you should be smelling some super chocolately dream dessert.

And, if you are like me in thinking that more chocolate is always better, toss a few chocolate chips on top.

They melt after a minute.

Which is fine since you'll need a glass of milk to go with this snack.

Ooops, how did those spoonfuls of ice cream get in there?
Oh well, I'll have to eat that too ;)

Chocolate YUM!
